Hi, my name is Adnan Siddiqi living in Karachi,Pakistan. I completed my graduation from Sirsyed University of Engineering and Technology and after that I have working as a web developer in different organizations. Though most of my experience is in web technologies like Coldfuson,php,J2EE and ASP but also got chance to work on desktop and mobile apps in technologies like C#,VB,VB.NET,QT,Appcelerator for iPhone/Android Apps. In early years of my graduation I tried to work on other than Windows hence installed RedHat Linux 5.2 first time on my 586 PC. It was not so easy at all provided no help from things like Internet which was not available at that time. Later I worked on RH 6 and others. Due to my affiliation with Linux Pakistan I tried to play with PHP,MySQL and Apache and managed to administer on basic level. My curious nature always drove me to try out new things thus I never kept myself dependant on things I had been working on my 9-5 jobs which resulted to create things like Online GIF generator for Karachi Stock Exchange's KSE 100 Index, MSN Quran bot which used to recieve around 20k lookups/day and AJAX based contact form. I am also the creator of MySQL to JSONPHP Class, my first ever open source contribution which got featured on Ajaxian.com as well in 2006 and got innovation award by phpclasses.

I always like to do things different. Though by profession I am a programmar but I never considered myself a hacker. I can write a GOOD code but I can't code at the speed of light. Almost 3 years earlier I found out that I am more like an entrepreneur than a mere coder. I am often invaded with various ideas. In order to exercise my interest I came up with an incubator, called Sidlabs and have completed few products. Apps like Zakat Calculator for Iphone which me and my friend made for our joint venture, Adriz Ventures. Am I Beautiful and Snapmarks are the apps which I made for Sidlabs.

I also 'like' to write so had spent a lots of time as a blogger. Though I am not as active as I used to be in past but you can read my technical blog here and my general blog here. A few months back I started ANOTHER blog where I intend to share my entprenuerial side. I am an INFP(If it matters!).
